The Resilience Centre has been established to deliver sustainable, economically sound solutions utilising 20 years of professional, practical, environmental, land and water management experience.
 
The team has experience in the successful delivery of development, environmental and energy schemes for companies (large and small), local and central government, landowners, regeneration and community groups.  We combine excellent commercial awareness with a solid practical grounding.

Our focus is on building resilience through Climate Change, mitigation and adaptation strategies and successful scoping, planning and delivery of Sustainable Energy, Water and Land Management projects.

Considerations of risk management and adaptation capacity are key elements in the services we provide. Our additional focus on the social aspects aims to improve resilience within society, as well as the wider biosphere.

Why Climate Adaptation? "Irrespective of the extent and success of our mitigation efforts to try and prevent it, we will all experience some unavoidable climate change. Proactive steps are required to prepare for the changes and the uncertainties we will experience in our local climate and available resources. Actions now (Adaptation) e.g. tree stock from more southerly areas, local water storage etc, are necessary to moderate the harmful effects on our communities and businesses whilst also exploiting beneficial opportunities that will arise."
